Halloween is almost here, so we’re celebrating with two truly terrifying releases from JJ Harrison and Amanda Madriaga!
From Night to Dawn to Day, George A. Romero's genre-defining zombie horror films are stone cold classics that maintain their relevance to this day. JJ’s alternative movie poster for Day of the Dead centers Dr. Logan aka Frankenstein and his experiments. With science vs. soldiers being the main conflict in the movie, JJ’s poster is an awesome collage of characters, scenes, and zombies.
Amanda’s first print with Bottleneck takes us to rural Sweden for a freaky festival with their print for Midsommar! The May Queen scene remains etched into our retinas, and Amanda’s print emphasizes the beautiful and colorful florals that Florence Pugh dons as she accepts her crown. Ari Aster’s film is a Bottleneck favorite, and Amanda’s inspired poster subtly conveys the darker undertones of the story.
