Mark Chilcott helps us start off the week with prints for two classic tales, Robin Hood and Pinocchio!
Disney’s Robin Hood put a whimsical, anthropomorphized spin on the time-honored story, and decades later, we’re still very stoked on the animated adaptation. Mark’s print features the main cast of players framed in an incredibly ornate design fitting a legendary character and story.
Mark’s print for Pinocchio, inspired by the recent del Toro retelling, uses the play motif to showcase both the wonderful character and creature designs, while also playing off of the themes from Pinocchio’s journey. Mark’s detailed texture work is impressive, and we love how much life he infused into this piece.
